The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) recently released new construction plans for a segment of the expansion of State Road 15/U.S. 17 in Putnam County and the development of accompanying stormwater retention ponds.  The FDOT’s recently released construction plans indicate that 56 parcels of Putnam County property are anticipated to be acquired (by eminent domain, if necessary) to complete this segment of the project, and to do so, the FDOT has budgeted over $6.5 million in right-of-way acquisition funds for the fiscal years 2013 and 2014 collectively.

Escambia County Releases Preliminary Construction Plans for the Extension of Kingsfield Road
